Dr. Mark Chen
Dr. Mark Chen is native to Las Vegas and is eager to contribute to the community. His father, an anesthesiologist, ignited his passion for medicine at an early age. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Biology. He then attended Touro University of Nevada for his medical degree. He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was chief resident during his final year there.
Dr. Chen is board certified in Family Medicine and has shadowed providers at PWS throughout his residency. He is always excited to learn about new treatment modalities and fine-tune his clinical and procedural skills. In line with this, Dr. Chen is working to obtain his certification in wound care.
Dr. Chen is always eager to learn and spend the time necessary with his patients. He has a fascination with health optimization and is excited to apply this knowledge to the world of wound care. During his free time, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his wife and growing family, completing home renovation projects, serving in his religious community, and staying active. Overall, Dr. Chen is dedicated to delivering quality care with a caring touch.
