Megan Nuckols was born and raised in Riverside, CA. She attended Loma Linda University School of Nursing, where she received her BSN. Megan gained experience in a Trauma ICU, Medical/Cardiac ICU, and eventually settled into the Emergency Department. After 12 years of bedside nursing, she chose to return to school, attending Chamberlain University. Megan finished her master’s degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. With her specialized nursing experience and dedication to providing whole patient care, she chose to specialize in wound care. She loves to help her community and patients by establishing a trusting relationship from the start, which is why she chose Professional Wound Specialists. With the training and support she receives from PWS, she can provide the highest quality of care to her patients.

As a mother of three daughters, Megan is busy at home with all things extracurricular and pink! When not at horseback riding lessons, soccer, gymnastics, or piano with her children, she loves shopping, boating (anything on the water really), and spending time with her animals. Quality time with her family and friends, traveling, and hosting dinners/parties make her happy. She finds joy in helping others and has a heart of service.
