Karen originally is from Philadelphia, PA and came to California in 2023. She has been a nurse since 2013 and she found her passion for wound care while working on a medical-surgical-geriatrics floor in an acute care hospital. She decided to advance her nursing education by becoming a board-certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence RN (CWOCN). She obtained her MSN degree in Adult-Gerontology in Miami, FL. Karen has worked in multiple acute care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities across the country as a wound specialist consultant/coordinator. Her goal has always been to become a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner so she can provide the best care for her patients and be part of their healing journey.
On her days off, Karen enjoys playing with her fat cat, Gizmo, and tending to her garden.

We provide wound care treatments in hospitals, surgical centers, rehabilitation facilities, long term acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and home health services. We provide wound care doctors at home, which allows convenience for homebound patients who need high quality service. PWS serves in the greater area of California, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
