Marisa is a board-certified family nurse practitioner born in Northern California, but has called Las Vegas home most of her life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. As a registered nurse, Marisa gained valuable experience in supervisory and administrative roles and found a passion in wound care. She decided to further her education at Touro University Nevada, where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. Marisa is wound care certified, and eager to serve patients in an advanced practice role where she can expand her wound care knowledge and skill set. Marisa employs a holistic approach to patient care and believes in empowering patients to take control of their health and wellness. Outside of her professional life, Marisa is a wife and mother of three who enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her family.
