Paula grew up in St George, Utah and moved to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah. She obtained her bachelors in Behavioral Science and Health and masters in Nutrition. Paula worked as a Registered Dietitian for 5 years in skilled nursing facilities. She decided to go back to school to become a physician assistant. Since graduating in 2016 Paula has been working as a provider at an interventional pain clinic in Salt Lake City. Her favorite part of this job was getting to know her patients closely and developing a trusting relationship. She has decided to shift her focus to geriatric populations. She finds interest in the intersection of wound care, nutrition, and care for aging populations.

Paula can be found outside of the city on most weekends, either packing up her truck or her motorcycle. She loves to camp in the desert with her dog, Milo. Paula loves hiking, backpacking, and canyoneering. She spends a lot of her time off back in her hometown, St George, or on their property in Kolob. When she stays in town she will be in her yard working in her garden or on projects, such as building a pergola or hammock stand from scratch.
