Rosalba Cadena Beltran
Rosalba Cadena Beltran is a California Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, also holding certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career at Kern Medical Hospital in Bakersfield, where she worked in both the telemetry unit and the Med-surg floor, finding fulfillment in caring for post-operative patients and their families.
During the Covid pandemic, Rosalba served as a Public Health Nurse with the Kern County Public Health Department and also gained valuable experience with Mercy and Memorial Home Health Company. In her role as a home health nurse, she acquired expertise in wound care, working with a diverse range of patients.
Currently, as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Rosalba specializes in providing care in the jail setting, where she interacts with patients from various backgrounds. She has expanded her skill set to include procedures such as sutures, ingrown toenail avulsion, and I&Ds, while also gaining experience in Urgent Care.
Rosalba’s approach to patient care is characterized by compassion and empathy, particularly towards individuals from different cultural backgrounds. She actively utilizes interpreter lines to ensure effective communication and understanding of patients’ needs and concerns, especially those with limited English proficiency.
With a strong passion for wound care, Rosalba is dedicated to promoting healing and improving the quality of life for patients with various health conditions. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, jogging, spending time with loved ones, and staying active through exercise.
